Based on a true story of two boys on trial for manslaughter after a rock thrown from a freeway overpass kills a motorist. This high-energy, inventive and intensely physical play weaves in other true stories of similar incidents from around the world and raises questions surrounding crime, punishment and the possibility of redemption.

Y Stage consistently produces some of the best theatre for young audiences in the city. Now the company is back with another challenging show (recommended for kids 13 and older): The Stones, an Australian drama by Tom Lycos and Stefo Nantsou. "It's a dense 50 minutes," says Y Stage artistic director and the show's director Nathan Pronyshyn."The first half," he says, "is physical comedy and mime work that gets everybody laughing - teen boy fun - and then it just drops in and becomes quite a dark play."
